PSYCH-K is a unique and direct way to identify and change subconscious beliefs that perpetuate old habits of thinking and behaving that you would like to change. It is a simple process that helps you communicate with your subconscious mind so you can change beliefs that limit your self-esteem, relationships, job performance, and even your physical health! Popularly characterized as a spiritual process with psychological benefits, the word psych is an abbreviation for psychology. And, is also a variant spelling of the word psyche. The dictionary definition of psyche is mind, soul, or spirit. The overall goal of PSYCH-K is to help you free your mind from beliefs that limit your recognition of yourself as a divine being having a human experience.

PSYCH-K is a unique process evolving from years of split-brain research and hundreds of sessions with individuals and groups. It creates a receptive state of mind that dramatically reduces resistance to change in the subconscious. The subconscious mind can be accessed in a way similar to a personal computer. PSYCH-K works as a kind of "mental keyboard" — a user-friendly method of communicating with the subconscious mind that is simple, direct, and verifiable.

Your subconscious beliefs establish the limits of what you can achieve. How Did PSYCH-K® Come To Be?

PSYCH-K was originated in 1988 by Robert M. Williams, M.A. It was a response to the frustration that came with the realisation that typical counselling techniques, which rely almost exclusively on "insight" and "motivation," seldom create real and lasting changes. Rob has spent nearly 20 years developing and improving PSYCH-K. His background in business and psychotherapy creates a results-oriented approach to personal change. PSYCH-K was inspired by a variety of processes, some contemporary and some ancient. It deals with the part of the mind called the subconscious, which is capable of creating dramatic and lasting changes quickly and easily.

What About Children & Teens?

I am regularly asked if PSYCH-K® and children and teens are compatible and whether the Balances with them can be used. The answer is wholeheartedly: “Yes!” Children like doing Balances. They are active, fast and solution-orientated. This means that children do not have to think for a long time about what hurts them.
 
PSYCH-K® is very effective for helping teenages instantly clear the multitude of stresses they are subjected to, and to give them tools and empowering new beliefs to cope with life itself.
 
As the Parent, you can choose whether you would like your Child or Teen to be present for the session, or if you would like to do the session on their behalf via surrogation.
 
Surrogation can be particulary beneficial for dealing with complex traumas, children with special needs, and very young children incapable of muscle testing.
